Working in group is very difficult to develop,because of the students lack of time to meet after school,so to solve that problem the internet is a space where they can do their works together without leaving home.In that sense collaborative work is beeing developed trough the internet. But the old methods are not totally forgot,they still have to use group cognition,shared ideas and the group work itself.
Collaborative working is a more independent way of working for the students because they use more the course material and the discussion with the colleagues to learn, not excluding the role of the teacher and of the usual learning process.Filled with a lot of assumptions about learners and the learning process, when the learners not only learn new things, but they also use them to create something new.
In this way of learning students have the responsibility to solve the problems instead of only watch them be solved,they also have to learn how to work with the others differences and points of view,and this differences also help teachers to re-think their ways of teaching because of the diversity of their students and the different background that each one have.
A group cognition occurs when the majority in a group have the same tought about a subject,this type of cognition can only happen when the participants share they individual toughts.This kind of sharing have two types the shared cognitions ( shared rationale for decision making process) and the shared theories ( shared norms,values,indentities).This majority leads to some better decisions and results and some activities than a minority( individual),on the other hand they are lead to more mistaked group decisions.
